Posted July 19, 20204 yr I have found that this is the best material to use for paint masks on models, Artool Ultra Mask: https://airbrushes.com/product_info.php?products_id=24150&osCsid=0gmh5t1bb5fif2uqpcc901jtao
July 19, 20204 yr Mal i do agree with you. I have been using Oracal oramask810 for the past years and it sure does work fine too. I usually jump between the two when i run out of either!
July 19, 20204 yr What are the differences or advantages of Artool over Oramask 810 (my usual choice) Mal?
July 22, 20204 yr I love Oramask 810, but the pre-shrunk issue with heat and time is a real bummer. Not a huge deal, as there are ways around it, but just have to be careful about how/when/where the masks are cut, and should be able to get around the issue.

November 14, 20204 yr To answer my question about Artool Hobby Mask, it is adhesive backed clear material only, there is not carrier to be able to use it in a cutter. (I purchased some.) It is probably just fine for masking canopies.
November 17, 20204 yr dixie art is a a bit less expensive then coastairbrush btw I have used both of them in the past
