SaintEx17 Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 Hi all, My name is Jean Gratton. Just learned about this site from the On the Bench podcast today. Boy this is phenomenal ! I've had the Silhouette for about a year or so and it's a great tool for this hobby but so far I've only used it to cut circular mask for car models. Recently I started a Bf109 E-7 and I wanted to use the masks for the markings but the scan of the decal sheet I made created rough copies at best. I'm so glad I found these great files but I have a question. The templates I downloaded give me the dimensions of the outer portion of the mask but how can size the actual cross to the dimensions I need. Thanks again and I hope to be able to share some of mine soon. Cheers from Ottawa region. 3 Quote
Kevin Futter Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 Welcome aboard, Jean! You could try superimposing the mask designs over your original scans, and making them match up. Not sure if that's actually possible in practise, but just an idea that popped into my head. Kev Quote
GeneK Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Jean, Which template are you talking about -- I don't see a Bf109 E-7 file? Can you scan and post the decal sheet , please? What scale is it? Also, please post this in the appropriate forum so this topic doesn't get lost in introductions? Gene K Quote
