G'day Ladies and Gents, I've never made paint masks, however I'm familiar with Adobe Illustrator and I'm planning to make paint masks for my 1/24 Jagtviggen. Therefore I'm here to learn all about paint masks. Cheers Rainer2 points

The Bandai kits are awesome...BTW, I grabbed this file, reduced by 50% and they fit perfectly on the little Bandai 1/144 kits. I also used tape to mask the wing panels, scanned and copied/mirrored to make a set, along with the little 1/144 Vader tie, but they look downright sloppy compared to what everyone else is posting. I 'm still learning and just have a basic, practical skill so far. the 1/144 kits don't have the black parts separate, so they have to be masked and painted. Thank you for the window masks! Good morning (here at least) to everyone. Just ordered a Portrait 2 a few days ago, so the timing is great for this forum. Looking forward to getting my feet wet and hopefully contributing some. Chris2 points

So I've had a Cameo 1 for a couple of years but only used it to a relatively small degree. I have the full boat of software up to and including the business edition (mainly so I could import AI images. Thanks to Kevin we can share our knowledge and experiences with these contraptions.1 point

Yeah, I'm here to learn as well. You always have some technique you use, then suddenly learn something new that can make all the difference.1 point

Thats a nice option, to upload and replace an existing version to update, or to just rename, and get a 2nd version up.1 point

Hi, Thanks for the invite. I administrate the facebook "cutting edge " plotter/cutter group dedicated to scale modeling and cutters. Kevin told me about this website a couple days ago. I think this website is a great thing especially for those using cricut machines. Now they have a place they can load files without the annoyance of facebook interfering. I really enjoy using cutters in scale modeling and look forward to seeing what comes out of this effort to put this one a website.1 point

Hi, As a scale modeller I'm mostly into Cold War aircrafts, preferably in 1/72 scale, but I also build other subjects. I have a Silhouette Portrait cutting machine. All the best, Tommy Killander1 point

Hi, Have joined following a posting on Facebook. Delighted to see this forum as I'm just getting started with developing/creating masks, etc. To date I have been looking at what cutter to buy and decided on a Silhouette Cameo 4. Advice from others steered me to a Silhouette and as I would like to cut any material I saw the Cameo as the best option. Did order a machine but supplier never despatched so just sorting that out and I'll get another ordered. Following all posts with great interest. P1 point

Yep, that is some great stuff! Really the sky is the limit with these, as I've done the same for a friend who wanted a black rose on his Harley!1 point

Yeah - sorry - will try to remember BTW - it dawned on me that it was not this way this plane looked on april 6th.... how could it have 15 kills on the tail if it was the first? Since Lützow only had 5 in Spain, it must be from other pilots scoring on this plan. But it did most certainly look like this at some point... I have the pictures to prove it1 point

Welcome aboard, Rainer! Great to have you here. As it happens, I've never made paint masks either, despite owning a Silhouette Portrait for nearly 2 years now! I'm here to learn, too. Kev1 point
