July 19, 20205 yr Good morning to all! Happy to be here and happy to finally see the idea of an online repository of user made masks has finally seen the light. I use a cameo 2 for plotting and the silhouette designer business edition along with adobe illustrator for the design phase of the masks. I look forward to to sharing my work here for others to be able to use them too! also happy to see here some familiar faces from other forums! Karim
July 19, 20205 yr I'm looking to see if the hobby cutters can be of use to me. More for cutting other mediums than masks but there are a few of the parameters that I have not been able to get my head around. So I may be asking some inane questions to try and work them out for myself? Standby🙄

I often do parts with the cutter so i can replicate them. It’s quite useful. Until the formlabs3 lands at least 😂
July 19, 20205 yr What I am trying fathom out is how the "offset" (the angle of the knife) is put into the hobby machines. I use 45% knives and the Offset is 0.43mm. That is set, as my knives are precision ground.

Your plotter is definitely more advanced and your knives of much better quality. It took me trial and error to figure out the thickness limit of styrene etc
