Hello from Aotearoa New Zealand

G'day from Auckland, NZ. Excluding my childhood, I've been modelling for about the last 25 years in 1/72 scale across all genres. I go by the name of Kiwikitbasher with Porco Rosso as my avatar on modelling forums. I mainly hang out on HyperScale and Missing Lynx's Braille Scale group with a thousand or so review and build articles over the years.

 

I recently purchased a Cricut Explore 3 for my wife and I to do craft activities with our granddaughter, and for me to create masks, etc for my modelling projects. I have only done one project with it so far, which was this Polish An-2. I enlarged a decal guide and edited the scan using the mouse and eraser in Paint and Photoscape to create the necessary silhouettes (the mouth, eyes and insignia are decals):

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I look forward to learning from and, at some point, contributing to this group.

It's the Trumpeter kit with Part PE providing some missing external details and the open cowl gills and a scratch-built spinner.
