Canopy Masks

A canopy mask for the Monogram TBD. I used Oramask to print and mask. Some clean up needed with a tooth pick to remove a little paint, but overall I think it looks fine. Comments welcome!

I traced the mask sheet from the Tamiya canopy mask. This is a kit on my shelf, and have not built and tried the file.

My first cockpit mask! For the Revell SR-71A in 1/48 scale. Include SVG and Silhouette Studio versions.

I did not include inside masks since I am depicting the cockpit closed. You should be able to use the outside ones for inside as well. Note that rear cockpit windows appear too large if you include the OUTSIDE lines - so I matched against the inside lines. Finally corners were slightly rounded to match reference photos.

My first contribution, for the Revell/Dragon Junkers Ju-188 Rächer.

Canopy masks for the new tool Airfix Blackburn Buccaneer. Apply the first set of canopy masks before painting the light colored canopy seals. Then apply the second masks over those before painting the aircraft camouflage. The small circle is for the landing light on the nose landing gear.

General masks for ICM 1/32 Hs 123: will fit any boxing, as the plastic is the same in each case. Has been used on my model https://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?/topic/103608-icm-hs-123-a-1/

Masks for windscreen - external only. One spare set provided. Note that as far as I can tell from photos, the outer edges of the windscreen were unframed, and only the lower frame and the central uprights need painting. If this is incorrect, please message me.

Masks for main wheel centres. One spare pair provided.

Masks for tail wheel centre. One spare pair provided.

Mask for engine mount, part E7, so you don't paint over where the glue goes.

Hier habe ich einmal verschiedene Dreiecke erstellt, 5mm + 7mm und 10mm + 14mm.
Länge Horizontal + Vertikal = 5mm bzw. 10mm,
Länge Diagonal: = 7mm bzw. 14mm.

Hallo,
hier ist eine Canopy-Mask für eine P-47D Thunderbolt  für Hobby Boss - Kit.
Die Maske kann auch für andere Hersteller verwendet werden, eventuell ist eine leichte Anpassung nötig

Also included are masks for the taxi lights on the nose landing gear, the landing light on the port wing root, the mid canopy windscreen under the canopy, and the non skid areas on the fuselage next to the cockpit.

These two masks are for the Revell 1/72 Handley Page Halifax B Mk.I/II, GR.II. (kit number 04394)
(may not be entirely accurate, BUT close enough for my tired old eyes...)
 
I'm not too sure that I'll do any Turret masks for this kit as it will be a lot quicker just to cut out the masks using Tamiya Tape and a sharp exacto knife...

Schnittmuster wurden vom Original-Masking-Sheet nachgezeichnet und passen sehr gut.
Da ich Neuling auf diesem Gebiet bin, möge man mir Fehler verzeihen.
 
Beim ersten Versuch hat das Schneideprogramm Doppel-Linen gezeichnet und der Plotter hat dann 13 Minuten gebraucht zum plotten. 😞 
Beim zweiten Versuch ist jetzt alles richtig. 🙂

Canopy masking for the two versions of the Me 410 by Airfix. Extra clear parts are on the clear parts tree but not designated in the instructions.

Canopy masks for Tamiya Bf109 E-4/7, kit #61063. Appreciate any feedback.

Canopy plus wheel/spares and Air Refueling masks for new (Sep 2023) FineMolds 1/72 F-15J (and other single seaters to be released (A, C, ...). I'll post two seater masks after kits are released (Dec 2023). 
 
This weekend I'll also post masks for metal aft fuselage areas, including Turkey Feather nozzles.

Canopy masks, inside and out for the Hawker Hunter.  The masks were produced specifically for the Echelon Vac form kit, comparisons with the Revell Hunter show that the latter canopy is slightly wider than the Echelon so if used, these masks may need a bit of tweaking.

Masks as described, outer test fitted and accurate, inner ones are a reduced version of the outer but not test fitted.....over to you. 😄
